Celestica Inc. (Toronto, ON) announced the launch of its new voltage regulator module (VRM), VRM 9.1 family of dc/dc converters designed for the computing sector. The VRM 9.1 power converters are targeted at computing OEMs. The new VRM components exceed the compatibility requirements defined for Intel® Xeon™ processors and Intel® Xeon™ processor-based platforms.
Available in a 3.8in x 2.3in x 0.57in form factor with 12Vin, the VRM 9.1 also supports Intel® Pentium® 4 processor requirements and offers significant enhancements in current, VID control, output-voltage range, and transient response of 50A/ms and a card edge connector.
The VRM 9.1 converters are now available. Pricing starts at $47 each for small-lot quantities, and below $29 for OEM quantities.
