Capxon Electronic Debuts ZV Series Capacitors

February 05, 2004 by Jeff Shepard

Capxon Electronic Ind. Co. Ltd. (Taiwan) debuted its ZV Series of aluminum electrolytic capacitors. The products are designed for surface-mounting on high-density PCB, and are applicable to automatic mounting machines using carrier tape. The capacitors feature a voltage range of 6.3 V to 35 V, a capacitance range of 1 µF to 220 µF, and a capacitance tolerance of ±20 percent at 120 Hz (20 °C). After 2 min, leakage current is not more than 0.01 CV or 3 µA.

With an ambient temperature of 105 °C, durability is 1,000 h. After test requirements at 105 °C, capacitance change is <±25 percent of the initial measured value, the dissipation factor is <±200 percent of the initial specified value, and the leakage current is less than the initial specified value.
