Caddock Intros the MP9100 Heatsink Mountable Power Resistor

Caddock Electronics (Roseburg, OR) has announced the MP9100, a TO-247 style heatsink mountable power resistor. The power dissipation of the resistor is based on the case temperature. The outstanding non-inductive performance of this TO-247 style resistor makes it suitable for power switching circuits, snubber circuits, RF terminations, and other high-power applications, according to Caddock. Resistance values as low as 0.050 Ohm are ideal for current sensing motor control and power supply applications, according to Caddock. Standard resistance values are available from 0.050 Ohm +/-1 per cent to 100 Ohm +/- 1 percent.
