Caddock Electronics Announces the MP2060 Resistor

May 10, 2001 by Jeff Shepard

Caddock Electronics (Riverside, CA) announced the new MP2060, a clip-mount, TO-220-style power film resistor. The MP2060 features 60W at 25 degrees C case temperature. Its maximum continuous current is 60A with values as low as 0.005ohm. The device features a ceramic mounting surface for high thermal conductivity with connection to a heat sink. The resistor element is isolated from the mounting surface in a non-inductive design.

The Caddock MP2060 is suitable for use in high-frequency power switching circuits such as snubbers and RF terminations. It can also be used for current sense applications in power supplies, motor controls, battery chargers and other applications.

The MP2060 is currently available with engineering and prototype quantities available from stock.
