Beta Dyne Unveils 30W Series DC/DC Converters

Beta Dyne Inc. (Bridgewater, MA) introduced its new 30W Series of dual 15W dc/dc converters offering a 3:1 input-voltage range, 1.5Vdc to 15Vdc output-voltage range, 400kHz switching frequency, and forward topology all packaged in a 2in x 2in x 0.395in case with an industry-standard pin out arrangement.

Synchronous rectification improves efficiency, while the dual-independent control loop and independent output-voltage adjustability makes the converter capable of both parallel and redundant operation offering maximum design flexibility. Six-sided shielding, SMD construction and improved thermal techniques enhance reliability and performance.
