August 19, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

Ault Inc. (Minneapolis, MN) announced its new 12W to 32W, universal switch-mode, power supply family, the PW128, which is suitable for broadband wireless devices, small PABX residential phones, networking products and personal digital assistants.

The CE- and TUV-compliant PW128 power supply is available in nine models, ranging from 12W to 32W, with an input voltage of 100Vac to 250Vac for portable applications. Users may choose from a variety of device-mounted or wall-plug configurations specific to the North American, Japanese and European markets.

The MW128 measures 3.74in x 2.13in x 1.26in (95.0mm x 54.0mm x 32.0mm). To reduce the product design-to-safety approval cycle time, the MW128 family meets TUV EN60950, CULus1950, Australian Approval and MITI safety approval ratings.

The PW128 is priced for OEMs at $11.85 per unit, in 1,000-unit lots.
