August 21, 2001 by Jeff Shepard

ATA Sensors (Albuquerque, NM), the commercial division of Applied Technology Associates, has received a one-year contract worth $0.67 million from Sandia National Laboratories (Albuquerque, NM) to manufacture angular displacement sensors, which will be installed on satellite payloads. The angular displacement sensor performs fine measurements crucial to diagnose and correct jitter. The jitter measurement data will be used to perform instrument diagnostics on a satellite.

ATA Sensors will soon move to its new corporate and manufacturing headquarters located in the Sandia Science and Technology Park.
