Applied Materials Inc. (Santa Clara, CA) announced that it plans to donate $250,000 to the ongoing relief efforts following Tuesday's tragic events in the US, and match company employee donations up to an additional $750,000.
"All citizens of the world were affected by these tragic events and we are committed to assisting those who are suffering. Our hopes and thoughts are with the victims and families affected by these terrible tragedies," said James C. Morgan, Chairman and CEO of Applied Materials.
