APC Enhances ProtectNet Dataline Surge Protection Suite

American Power Conversion Corp. (APC, West Kingston, RI) recently announced enhancements to its ProtectNet dataline surge protection suite, the APC PDigiTel. According to APC, the APC PDigiTel offers power protection for T1, Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) lines, Digital Leased Lines (DLL) and other digital telecommunications equipment."The PDigiTel surge protector offers users who rely on the high speed digital telecommunications technology the ability to protect their systems from damaging power fluctuations that can be detrimental to their network reliability," said Joe Loberti, general manager of APC's Consumer Network Solutions Group. "Companies realize if their digital lines are down there is a loss in business productivity which could translate into thousands of dollars in downtime costs."
