Advanced Linear Intros ALD2724/E Op Amps

December 10, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

Advanced Linear Devices Inc. (Sunnyvale, CA) announced its new ALD2724E/ALD2724 operational amplifiers that permit optional user-programmable, offset voltage trimming using the patented Electrically Programmable Analog Device technology. The ALD2724 is pre-programmed at the factory under standard operating conditions for minimum Vos for standard op amp applications.

Standard offset voltage specifications for the ALD2724E/ALD2724 are typically 25µV at 0.01pA input bias current. The ALD2724E has a guaranteed input offset programming range of ±5mV. Both devices feature rail-to-rail input-voltage and output-voltage ranges, tolerance to over-voltage input of 300mV beyond supply rails, ±5V supply operation, high capacitive loading up to 4,000pF, input currents of 0.01pA, a 2.1MHz bandwidth, a slew rate of 5V/µs, and a supply current of 5.0mA.

The ALD2724E/ALD2724 are priced at $1.83 and $1.46, respectively, in 1,000-piece quantities. The ALD2724E/ALD2724 are available in 14-pin DPIP, SOCI and ceramic DIP packages.
