Advance-Galatrek (UK) unveiled its latest range of 110V transient voltage surge suppressors (TVSS) for its StrikeSafe Series, specifically designed for applications such as industrial and manufacturing sites.
The StrikeSafe range of 110V TVSS devices is available in a variety of formats and capacities, suitable for the wide installation base of industrial equipment that uses a 110V supply. The units are intended to provide transient voltage protection for applications within Zones B and C, as defined in BS EN6651:1992, Appendix C.
The StrikeSafe 110V range offers a choice of TVSS technology, depending on the nature of the connected load. Because voltage transients can easily damage sensitive equipment, many models include a combination of silicon avalanche diode and metal-oxide varistor components.
