MinMax announced its new MIZI03 family of 3-Watt dc-dc in the industry standard DIP-24 package that is ruggedized to meet EN 50155 and EN 61373 for increased temperature, humidity, shock, vibration, and other parameters for railway, transit and industrial applications.

The 3-Watt MIZI03 family consists of 15 models with ultra-wide input ranges of 9- to 36-Vdc, 18- to 75-Vdc, and 40- to 160Vdc and outputs of 5-, 12-, 15-, ±12-, and ±15-Vdc in a small 1.25 X 0.80 X 0.47” encapsulated DIP-24 package.

The MIZI03 family features: Reinforced Isolation rated for 3,000Vac; high efficiency up to 90%; wide operating Temperature range of -40 to +80 degrees C (full-load) assure reliable performance for critical applications; tight regulation; low no-load power consumption; and integral EMI filter to meet EN55032 Class A.

Built-in protection circuits include under-voltage lockout, over-voltage, over-temperature, over-current and short circuit protection.

The MIZI03 family has been intensely qualified to meet:

UL/cUL/EN 62368-1 (60950-1) standards with CB Report;
Railway certification to EN50155 (IEC60571);
Fire Protection to EN45545-2;
Shock & Vibration to EN61373;
Cooling, dry & damp heat testing to IEC/EN60068-2-1,2,30;
Railway EMC standard to EN50121-3-2.
