3-Watt DC-DCs with Output Ripple and Noise to 5mVrms

The 3-Watt dc-dc converters in the TVN 3 series from Traco Power provide an ultra-low output ripple and noise of approximately 10-mVrms peak-to-peak or down to 5-mVrms peak-to-peak with a 10µF capacitor.

In the SIP-8 package they are very compact even they provide an isolation voltage of 1600Vdc and fully-regulated outputs. Apart from the standard 2:1 input voltage range, the low-input-voltage models feature an extended input voltage range from 4.5- to 13.2-Vdc (3:1).

Full load operation is reliable up to 75°C environment temperature without derating and up to 90°C with 50% derating. The conducted noise complies with EN 55022 class B and makes this converters well-suited for audio and test & measurement circuits.
