3.5-W to 20-W High-Isolation DC-DCs for Industrial and Transportation Systems

Traco Power has released the TRI Series of high-isolation dc-dc converters featuring 5 power ranges. The 3.5-, 6- and 10-W models feature 7,071Vdc I/O isolation / 9,000Vdc peak isolation up to one second in the compact DIP-24 package.

The 15- and 20-W models feature 5,940Vdc I/O isolation / 8,000Vdc peak isolation up to one second in a compact 2.00 x 1.00" footprint. All models feature a 1,000Vac working voltage and common mode transient immunity (dv/dt) of 15kV/µs.

Each TRI series power level consists of 15 standard models with 9- to 18-Vdc, 18- to 36-Vdc, and 36- to 75-Vdc input options (the 3.5W series has 5 more models with a 4.5- to 9-Vdc input range). Available output voltages include 5-, 12-, 15-, ±12- and ±15-Vdc

Features include: low no-load power consumption; high efficiency operation; and protection from overload / overvoltage / short circuit conditions. An internal filter enables EN 55032 class A emissions without any external components. All models are safety qualified to UEC/EN/UL 62368-1 with CB Report and are supported by a 3-year warranty.
