2W, 3kVdc Isolation Unregulated DC-DCs

July 01, 2019 by Scott McMahan

Cincon announced the new EC2SANH series of 2W unregulated dc-dc converters in industry standard SIP package. They have an isolation voltage of 3000Vdc, and offer continuous short-circuit protection.

These new dc-dc converters are suitable for applications in battery operated equipment, telecommunications, distributed power systems, industrial, and portable equipment.

The efficiency is up to 88%. Their operating ambient temperature range is from -40°C to +105°C with de-rating above 85°C.

The EC2SANH series features a size of 0.77in x 0.28in x 0.40in (19.6mm x 7.2mm x 10.2mm). It also has an input voltage range of ±10%, with input voltages of 5Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc. The unregulated output voltages are available in 5V, 12V, 15V, ±5V, ±12V, and ±15V.

With an industry standard pinout, the dc-dc converters do not use tantalum capacitors. The series comes in 18 variants.
