2-Watt dc-dc converters from Aimtec offer a choice of isolation of 1500- or 3000-Vdc and feature continuous short circuit protection with auto recovery restart. The restart feature will work continuously until the short circuit condition is cleared and protects the converter, the load and the converter's input circuit from extremely high currents that can be caused by a short circuit.
Input voltage choices are 5-, 12-, 15- and 24-Vdc. The output voltage can be 5-, 9-, 12-, 15-, or 24-Vdc. AM2LS-NZ is available in a compact surface-mount (SMD) package measuring 12.70 x 11.20 x 7.25 mm. Operating at ambient temperatures from -40 to +105 degrees C (with derating starting between 71 and 85 degrees C depending on model).
The AM2LS-NZ series is designed for versatility and can be integrated into a multitude of applications such as digital circuits, low frequency analog or relay drive circuits in industrial, telecommunication and computer systems.
