Zhongxi Micro-Electronics Component Co. Ltd. (China) is now offering the LGC0402(1005)CW inductors, which operate over an inductance range from 1nH to 40nH, with tolerances of J and K. The new inverters provide high Q-value and high self-resonant frequency. They can be used in telecommunications equipment, mobile phones, pagers, computers, printers, automotive electronics, electronic alarm devices and audio-visual appliances.

Self-resonant frequency for the new LGC0402(1005)CW inductors ranges from 2.24GHz to 6GHz. Q-values range from 16 to 24. The maximum dc resistance is rated at 430mohms, and the maximum rated current is 1.36kA. Zhongxi's product offerings come in two versions. The first has a ferrit core and the second a ceramic core. At 45- to 75-percent RH, the devices with ceramic cores operate at -40 to 125 degrees C. At the same RH, inductors with the ferrit cores are specified for 25 to 85 degrees C operation. Storage temperature is from -10 to 40 degrees C at 80-percent RH.
