WTS Intros Autronic AVP-3/KEP DC/DC Converter Series
WTS Inc. (Ashland, MA) announced the availability of the new Autronic AVP-3/KEP Series of triple-output dc/dc converters for 19" sub-racks. The new AVP-3/KEP model now has more power on the bipolar output voltage, according to WTS. The 87W converter is offered in a compact Euro cassette size 3HE x 8TE x 190mm which can be inserted into a 19" sub-rack. Other case types are available upon request. The new converters are suitable for applications under critical ambience conditions with regard to a temperature range of -25 to +85 degrees C, EMC behavior and mechanical stress.Three input voltages are available: 15 to 36V, 32 to 74V and 66 to 154V. Available output voltages are: +5V, +12V and -12V or +5V, +15V and -15V. The new modules have interference suppression at the input according to EN55022: 1994, class B, and at the output according to Vfg 243/1991. TheAVP-3/KEP has continuous short circuit protection and overtemperature and overvoltage protection on the output. This DC/DC converter is equipped with external switch-off, potential-free output voltage monitoring and a ripple of less than or equal to 3.5mVrms.Pricing for the AVP-3/KEP Series starts at $425 in 100 pieces.
