Wall Industries Debuts MD Series DC/DC Converters

Wall Industries Inc. (Exeter, NH) announced its new MD Series of low-profile, high-efficiency, 1in x 2in, dc/dc converters, which have input ranges of 18Vdc to 36Vdc and single outputs of 15Vdc, 12Vdc, 5Vdc, 3.3Vdc, 2.5Vdc or 1.8Vdc. The converters deliver up to 20W and efficiencies of up to 89 percent.
The converters are housed in the industry-standard 1in x 2in x 0.40in package and standard footprint. Other features include remote on/off, ultra-tight line/load regulation, continuous short-circuit protection, a six-sided shield, and an operating temperature of -40 to +85 degrees C.
The MD Series is priced at $27.95 in OEM quantities.
