April 06, 2000 by Jeff Shepard

Vishay Intertechnology Inc. (Malvern, PA) has filed a registration on Form S-3 with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Once it becomes effective, the company may, from time to time, publicly offer debt securities or shares of its common stock in a total amount of up to $600.0 million. The filing statement is intended to give the company flexibility to raise money from the public offering of securities, subject to market conditions and the company's needs.
