Vishay Intertechnology Announces Five New Low-Threshold Small-Signal MOSFETs

April 09, 2000 by Jeff Shepard

Vishay Intertechnology Inc. (Malvern, PA) announced five low-threshold, small-signal MOSFETs for load switching and driver applications. Packaged in the three-pin and six-pin SC-70, the new devices feature a typical gate-threshold of 0.9V, making them well-suited for cellular phones, PDAs and other battery-operated systems. These devices include the N-channel TN0205A (single) and TN0205AD (dual), the P-channel TP0205A (single) and TP0205AD (dual), and the dual N- and P-channel TC0205AD.

All five of the new devices offer rated operation at 2.5V. Maximum on-resistance per channel for the TN0205A and TN0205AD is 2 ohms at 4.5V gate drive and 2.5 ohms at a 2.5V gate drive. Maximum on-resistance per channel for the TP0205A and the TP0205AD is 3.8 ohms at a -4.5V gate drive and 5 ohms at a -2.5V gate drive. Maximum current ratings are 250mA for the N-channel devices and -180mA for the P-channel devices.

Prices in lots of 100,000 are $0.09 for the single-channel devices, and $0.18 for the dual-channel devices.
