UltraVolt Cuts Temperature Coefficient In Half On Smallest HV Power Supplies

November 23, 2008 by Jeff Shepard

UltraVolt, Inc. announced that it has further refined its product line by offering the "25PPM" option on its "AA" series product line. While the "25PPM" option was available on larger modules – the "A" series, "10A-25A" series, and "30A-40A" series – this is the first time a 25ppm temperature coefficient has been achieved on a module that is only 3.34in³.

"AA" series high-voltage power supply modules featuring the "25PPM" option will provide an improved temperature coefficient for customers who have critical applications in variable temperature environments. "AA" series units with this option will have an output voltage of 0-62V through 0-6kV and maintain a 25ppm temperature coefficient on both the output voltage and output voltage monitor. In addition, the modules will provide +5V compensated reference, and that reference will be refined to a 10ppm temperature coefficient.

"AA" series units with the "25PPM" option will retain the same compact package size, making them ideal for replacement in current designs. They also benefit new designs requiring such small size and precision.

UltraVolt "25PPM" option modules are available with a lead time of 4-5 weeks.
