Trident Engineering Introduces Portescap 08G Ironless Motor

Trident Engineering (UK) introduced a new Portescap 8mm-diameter ironless motor, the 08G. This new motor, which is claimed to produce up to 50 percent more torque than comparable competing motors, can replace conventional 10mm motors. It delivers an output power of 700mW at speeds of up to 11,600rpm.
The 08G is suitable for use in medical equipment such as peristaltic and infusion pumps, semiconductor manufacturing plants, security products, and similar demanding applications. It is available in two lengths, 16mm and 19mm, and is offered with a range of winding and output-shaft options.
