Coilcraft Announces New 0603HC Chip Inductors

Coilcraft Inc. (Cary, IL) announced its new 0603HC chip inductors, which provide high current ratings and ultra-small size, making them suitable for low-voltage, high-frequency applications such as mobile phones.

The 0603HC wirewound ceramic inductors feature continuous current ratings of up to 2.4A and will handle transient currents up to 50 percent higher. They are offered with inductance ratings ranging from 1.6nH to 24nH. At low inductance values, the inductors exhibit a higher Q factor compared to the company’s existing 0603 chip coils.

Pricing for a typical ±5 percent model is $0.29 in quantities of 10,000.
