Tectrol Releases 850W 12V Front End for 1U Horizontal or 2U Vertical Applications

Tectrol introduced the TFE-850 series of 850W hot-swap power modules with 12V output in a 1U horizontal/2U vertical package and 11" depth ideal for networking and Storage applications.

The TFE-850 front end power supply delivers 850W of 12V power with 3.3VSB @ 1A in a high-density hot-swap/redundant package measuring 11 x 3.3 x 1.6". The power supply provides full-load operation over the entire universal ac input range with active power factor correction and front-panel IEC-320 C14 inlet. The supply features 89% efficiency at 50% load; digital I2C interface; analogue status and control functions; and fan-speed control. All units are RoHS 6/6 Compliant and safety qualified for cTUVus EN60950-1 and bear the CE Mark (LVD) with reliability >700Khrs (Telcordia SR332 ; 40°C; Full Load). The supply is designed to fit a wide range of networking and storage applications and can be modified or configured for deployment in "Customer Specific" applications.

Evaluation quantities are on-hand with production deliveries of stock to 16 weeks. Modules are priced at less than $200 in OEM quantities.
