Single-Output AC-DCs Deliver 210W and 360W

August 10, 2014 by Jeff Shepard

Mean Well Enterprise Co. Ltd. has released the MS-210 and MS-360 single-output ac-dc power supplies that deliver 210W and 360W, respectively. Each of these two series provides 11 nominal dc output voltages (2V, 3.3V, 5V, 7.5V, 12V, 15V, 18V, 24V, 27V, 33V, 48V); in addition, each individual model can have the output voltage further adjusted by the potentiometer or the remote margin function. As a result, the diverse need for the output voltage ranging from 1.6V through 53V can be covered.

MS-210 and MS-360 offer the ability to parallel up to 5 units and 3 units, respectively. Other functions include remote sense, remote control, short circuit protection, overload protection (constant current limiting mode), and over voltage protection. MS-210 and MS-360 fit the application for complex facilities or systems that may need the multiple-output power supply, such as general industrial control, telecommunication systems and data storage systems, and so on.

These power supplies operate with a universal input voltage of 85- to 264-Vac. They meet various safety and EMC standards including: UL60950-1, TUV EN60950-1, EN55022 (CISPR22) Class B, EN61000-3-2,-3, EN61000-4-2,3,4,5,6,8,11, EN55024, EN61000-6-1, and EN61204-3, light industry level, criteria A.
