Silicon Power Announces the PowerDigm Low-Voltage Transfer Switch

Silicon Power Corp. (Exton, PA) announced its new PowerDigm low-voltage sub-cycle transfer switch. The PowerDigm Switch for low-voltage applications is designed for use inside facilities to protect microchip-dependent equipment, computers and telecommunications.

The switches meet UL 1008 and are rated at 208Vac through 480Vac with continuous full-load ratings of 100A, 225A, 400A, 600A, 800A, 1,200A, 1,600A, 2,000A, 3,000A and 4,000A. The system features automatic load transfer, bypass and disconnect, redundancy, replaceable sub-units, multiple sensing times, and condition alarms.

The PowerDigm Switch uses thyristors and is suitable for use in mission-critical and 7x24 operations such as computer networks, Internet data centers, critical manufacutring processes and office buildings.
