Sierra-KD Components (Carson City, NV) announced today that it has received the TRIDENT II (D-5) Flag from the Department of the Navy in recognition of its support to the D5 program with its low pass EMI filters.

The award letter from Rear Admiral D. M. Dwyer reads, in part: “The low pass filter produced by your company have met our most stringent requirements and performed flawlessly, leading directly to the demonstrated success of the D5 missile system."

Kurt Haskell, president of Sierra-D Components reports, “We are extremely honored to be receiving the prestigious TRIDENT II Flag award from the Department of the Navy. We understand that out of the 2,400 vendors for the Navy, only three flags were awarded. We believe that recognition such as this is a firm indication that Sierra-KD continues to provide quality products, not just to the military, but to all our markets."
