Server Power Supplies feature Platinum Efficiency and PMBus
Unipower Corp. has enhanced its family of 12Vdc Server Power Supplies with the addition of 1,500W and 3,000W units. Unipower now offers a complete range of pluggable 12Vdc products ranging from 200W to 3,000W for customers in the Datacom market, with Platinum Level Efficiencies up to 95%. Additional features of UNIPOWER Server Power Supplies include PMBus communication, hot swappable N+1 redundant operation, and front ac power access.
"Our newly added 1500W and 3000W products are a direct result of higher power requirements we have been seeing from our key partners," says Mike Henderson - Unipower Vice President of Marketing and Product Management. Henderson also notes, "Units can be utilized stand-alone or in parallel for even higher power needs by using a standard 1RU chassis/shelf."
The 3,000W UPT3000 provides an output of 12.3Vdc and 244A. Features and options of the UPT3000 include: 90-264Vac Input; 95% Platinum Level Efficiency; -40 to +75 degrees C Operation; Power Density 33.5W/Cu. Inch; Integral Active Output ORing Circuit; 500,000 hrs MTBF; LED Indicators; PMBus / digital control; Input OV & UV Protection; Output Over Current Protection; Output Short Circuit Protection; Input OV Protection and Low Noise Cooling Fans.
The 1,500W SPQ3000 provides an output of 12Vdc and 125A. Features and options of the SPQ3000 include: Up to 94% Efficiency (Platinum Level); 1U High SlimLine Package, 0.95 Power Factor; Output Voltages: 12 Vdc and 5V standby; Power Density >26.5W/Cu. Inch; Hot Swappable; Integral Active Output ORing Circuit; Class A EMI Filter; Audible Alarm; LED Indicators; Variable Speed Cooling Fans; and PMBus Serial Communications.
