Schaffner Ltd. (Edison, NJ), a supplier of EMC components and test equipment, announced the appointment of Paul Dixon as the new Managing Director of its UK operations. Dixon takes over from Michael Lowe who began the company in the UK 20 years ago and established Schaffner’s position as a leading EMC supplier. Lowe will be continuing for a time as a non-executive director engaged on special projects before ending his successful career.
"I have had a very rewarding time with Schaffner and this is a good opportunity to bring in a new chief executive," stated Lowe. "The worst of the recession in our industry is now over and we are seeing real growth in demand for our products. We have found an excellent new man for the job who will have a great chance to build on our successes and exploit the new markets that are emerging for our services."
