Samtec Asia Pacific (Singapore) announced its new PEC Series of power connectors, which are rated at up to 5A and are designed to bring power to the board through an edge-card interface with three, seven or 10 contacts with a 2.54mm pitch.
The one-piece interface has built-in latches to increase the withdrawal force required to remove the power board. Optional alignment pins and locking clips can be provided to attach the interface to the board.
