RO Associates Announces UL, CSA and TUV Approvals and CE Mark On Converters

RO Associates Inc. (Sunnyvale, CA) announced UL, CSA and TUV agency approvals and CE Mark on 40-60W and 63-120W families of half-brick dc/dc converter modules. The 48V input and 300V input PicoVerter (40-60W) and NanoVerter (63-120W) dc/dc converters were tested by an independent testing laboratory. The converters demonstrated conformity with UL 1950, including the following: IEC 950, CSA-C22.2, No. 950-95, TUV, EN60950 and CE Mark requirements. The PicoVerter pV48 and pV300 Series and NanoVerter nV48 and nV300 Series have received certificates of conformity and the labels now carry the agency and CE Mark designations. Both converter families are designed for use in distributed or centralized power systems in telecom, wireless, computer and industrial control applications. Pricing in single quantities is $105 for the PicoVerter and $125 for the NanoVerter. Pricing in quantities of 100 is $95 each for the PicoVerter and $115 each for the NanoVerter.
