Powerline (UK) premiered the new UPO 40 Series, a range of 40W open-frame switch-mode power supplies. The range includes units in two sizes, one measuring 4" x 3" x 1", and a larger version measuring 5" x 3" x 1". The series also offers a choice of Molex or IEC 320 inputs. All units have universal inputs covering the range of 90 to 264Vac and 47 to 60Hz. They are available with single-, dual- or triple-outputs at voltages of 5, 9, 12, 15, 18 or 24Vdc.

The UPO 40 Series has an on-board filter that limits conductive electromagnetic interference to meet the requirements of FCC/CISPR 22, Class B. Powerline claims that efficiency is typically 70 percent, with a mean time between failures of 470,000 hours minimum.
