Power-One Welcomes Bill Yeates as President and COO

Power-One Inc. (Camarillo, CA) recently announced that William (Bill) Yeates has joined the company as president and chief operating officer. According to the company, Yeates will have responsibility for all day-to-day operations of Power-One's three divisions.Prior to joining Power-One, Yeates was vice-president and general manager of Lucent Technologies' Titania Power Division (Austin, TX). Mr. Yeates' other experience includes Asia/Pacific regional managing director for the Lucent Power Systems Division, director of Network Systems Power Sales for Lucent North America, director of Lucent's Power Supplies Business Unit, and managing director of AT&T's Matamoros, Mexico facility."Bill's experience, technical education, and management style make him a perfect fit for Power-One," said Steve Goldman, Power-One's chairman of the board and CEO.
