Plug-and-Play Interconnects and Inverters for Centralized PV Power

Schneider Electric Solar Business showcased the new PV Box ST at their booth this week at Intersolar Europe. The New PV Box ST is a containerized plug and play conversion system designed for centralized PV power plants and commercial applications. The PV Box has undergone extensive safety, quality and reliability risk mitigation so that it is safe and can be installed in many harsh environment conditions.

The New PV Box ST features: Standard 40 feet ISO shipping container for ease of shipment worldwide; Configurable to withstand severe weather conditions: continental, tropical, sea shore and desert; Type-tested solution according to IEC-62271-202 including Arch Flash Testing (IAC-A); Proven robust design through rigorous customer reliability testing; Compressed construction lead-times through factory integrated solutions; All equipment and integration made in Schneider Electric factories; Convenient and safe enclosure design for maintenance purposes.

Schneider Electric also has a PV Box RT version which is specifically designed for road transportation and has an integrated concrete basement for minimal civil work on site. The PV Box ST and PV Box RT are a part of Schneider Electric's comprehensive solution package with the Conext Control monitoring and control system as well as their global services offer.
