ON Semi to Demo Broad Range of Power Solutions at Techno-Frontier

ON Semiconductor Corporation will showcase its power-saving and space-saving product portfolio at Techno-Frontier 2014 to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from July 23-25. The company will demonstrate energy efficient products for power management, motor driver and LED driver targeting automotive, industrial, home appliance and portable applications in booth 1E-201 in the east exhibition hall of Tokyo Big Sight.

The company’s energy efficient technologies deliver innovative solutions that help design engineers significantly reduce power usage in both active state and standby state. ON Semiconductor’s devices are utilized in a wide range of products including automotive subsystems, white goods, industrial products, smartphones/tablets, and various wireless and portable applications. Within ON Semiconductor’s Japan-based operations, the company runs two manufacturing sites, three design centers, and a Solutions Engineering Center in Tokyo. The company also houses its System Solutions Group product development business within its Gunma campus and recently established a key regional distribution hub in Narita.

The products and solutions to be demonstrated will include: Power Supply Solution including power supply ICs (ac-dc, dc-dc, and linear regulators) and discrete components (high voltage MOSFET, low and medium voltage MOSFET, diode); Motor Control Products including motor driver IPM (Intelligent Power Module) portfolio, motor driver ICs for small cooling fan, stepper motor drivers for motion control, linear vibrator driver IC for vibration and haptics applications, and IGBT products for motor drive; LED Driver Products including dimmable LED controller ICs, power ballast and dual LED driver IC for automotive front lighting, and LED string protection; and Battery Management including lithium-ion battery fuel gauge controller IC for smart devices, lithium-ion battery protection controller IC for smart devices and battery charge controller IC portfolio.
