Nissan's Xterra Fuel Cell Vehicle Uses Dynetek Industries' Fuel-Storage System

Dynetek Industries (Canada) has announced that the new fuel cell-powered Xterra FCV, produced by Nissan (Japan), uses Dynetek's lightweight fuel-storage system. Nissan recently unveiled the Xterra FCV, equipped with Dynetek's compressed hydrogen fuel-storage system, at both the Electric Vehicle International Conference and the grand opening of the California Fuel Cell Partnership.

"Our relationship with Nissan is strong and continues to grow," said Rene Rutz, Dynetek's vice president of marketing and business development. "Not only are we involved with supplying Nissan with our compressed hydrogen fuel-storage systems for their latest Xterra FCV but we provide fuel storage for their compressed natural gas vehicles, such as the Nissan AD Van compressed natural gas vehicle."
