May 31, 2018 by Paul Shepard

Navitas Semiconductor announced it will present the latest in GaNFast power IC advances with multiple technical papers at this year’s PCIM Europe conference. PCIM (Power Conversion & Intelligent Motion) is Europe's leading meeting-point for specialists in power electronics and applications in motor drive, renewable energy, electric vehicles and energy management.

Navitas’ GaNFast reference designs cover a broad range of applications and markets from 27W USB-PD for fast-charging smartphones and ultrabooks, to 150W gaming laptop adapters and on up to 3,200W telecom power systems.

“Since our PCIM 2016 introductory keynote, Navitas has driven higher speeds and delivered higher performance in power conversion”, said Stephen Oliver, VP Marketing & Sales.

“Integrated GaNFast ICs are powering a new class of power systems which increase power densities and battery charging rates by 3-5x, improve energy savings by 50% or more and lower system costs. The wait is over, the next revolution in power electronics is underway,” Oliver emphasized.
