MTS Systems Corp. (Cary, NC) announced its new TempoGuard explosion-proof sensor based on the Temposonics R Series and L Series rod style sensors. Constructed using a Temposonics R Series or L Series rod style sensor assembled inside an explosion-proof housing, the TempoGuard sensors enable the customer to choose the specific sensor output configurations required for their application.
The TempoGuard family of explosion-proof sensors are approved by Factory Mutual Research for the following hazardous area applications: Class I, Division 1, Groups B, C and D for combustible gases, and Class II/III, Division 1, Groups E, F and G for combustible dust and particulate matter.
