Linear Technology Corp. (Milpitas, CA) announced the LT1494 operational amplifier, which features rail-to-rail input and output and draws less than 1.5µA of supply current.
The maximum input offset voltage is 375µV, maximum input offset current is 100 picoamps and offset voltage drift is 0.4µV/degrees C (maximum 2µV/degrees C). Offset drift remains low over the -40 to 85 degrees C industrial temperature range.
Applications include battery- or solar-powered systems, remote instrumentation, and industrial applications, including 4mA to 20mA current-loop transmitters.
The LT1494 is offered in eight-pin PDIP, SOIC and tiny MSOP packages. Pricing is from $1.65 in lots of 1,000.
