October 29, 2007 by Jeff Shepard

JAS Technical Media LLC has been appointed the exclusive media representative in North America for PowerPulse.Net, a Darnell Group publication, and as the North American representative for Darnell’s conferences and forums. JAS Technical Media is an advertising sales network and technical communications consulting company formed by industry veterans Steven Wirth and Joshua Israelsohn. This current appointment follows the earlier signing of Joshua Israelsohn, former Power and Analog Editor with EDN Magazine, as a monthly contributor, writing "The Casual Observer" column for PowerPulse.Net.

"We are excited to be adding the experienced sales professionals at JAS to the PowerPulse team," stated Jeff Shepard, Publisher and President. "In partnership with JAS Technical Media, we look forward to bringing increased value and innovation to our advertisers."

"We are thrilled to be working with the Darnell Group, which provides quality content for its readers and a number of outstanding options for advertisers to achieve their marketing objectives," said Wirth.

"From a Technical Communications perspective, I’ve long appreciated the quality of the Darnell Group’s work and the depths of their market insights. I’m very pleased that our two companies will be working together to advance that work," added Joshua Israelsohn.

Before founding JAS, Steven Wirth was Group Publisher of the Electronics Group at Advantage Media. Along with Steven, the advertising sales side of JAS Technical Media includes Terry McCoy, Jr., formerly a Group Vice President with Reed Business Information, and Nancy Bateman-Kocsis, a former National Sales Manager with Reed Business Information. The JAS team has over 65 years of experience in all aspects of publishing.
