IR Expands MBR Series of Schottky Diodes with 45V Devices

International Rectifier (IR, El Segundo, CA) has expanded their MBR series of Schottky diodes, offering new 45V devices rated at 30A and 40A in TO-220 and TO-247 packages. These new devices are claimed to allow engineers to make a trade in efficiency for much lower component cost, enabling them to build more cost-effective supplies. All the devices are center tapped for common cathode configuration. All new MBR products have a lead-time of four weeks or less. Pricing based on 10,000-piece quantities starts at $1.00 each.
