Intersil Holding Announces New 150V Family of UltraFET MOSFETs

Intersil Holding Corp. (Irvine, CA) announced the latest addition to its family of power semiconductors. The 150V family of UltraFET MOSFETs is designed for use in uninterruptible power supplies, dc/dc converters and power supplies, and general-purpose load control. Intersil claims that the device improves the power efficiency required to enable high-speed computing and Internet data transfer.

"Intersil's 150V UltraFET MOSFETs are specifically designed with a low RDS(on) rating, and feature improved switching speed. The new 150V UltraFET MOSFETs can power a variety of applications," said Intersil product line manager Eric Hertz. He added, "The versatility of Intersil's 150V UltraFET MOSFET portfolio delivers the flexibility to be deployed in numerous designs. This addition to the UltraFET family allows Intersil to offer devices that efficiently control power and significantly reduce power loss across a wide range of voltages."
