International Rectifier Unveils 150U Series Rectifiers

International Rectifier Corp. (El Segundo, CA) introduced its new 150U® Series 235A, standard-recovery, stud-mount rectifiers in the DO-8 package, which are used to convert raw ac mains electricity into dc power. The new rectifiers are made for industrial applications such as welding, machine tool controls, battery chargers and power supplies, and are available in anode-to-case and cathode-to-case versions with US and European threads.

The 150U Series rectifiers feature ratings from 600V to 1,200V and 150A at 125 degrees C case temperature, and are manufactured with a new process that combines brazed-die construction with the reliability and ruggedness of compressed assembly. The new devices have good power cycling performance and the ability to maintain stable forward-voltage characteristics throughout component lifetime.

Pricing for the new 150U Series 235A, standard-recovery, stud-mount rectifiers in the DO-8 package begins at $12.89 each (150U120D) in 1,000-unit quantities.
