International Rectifier Intros New ULDO Regulators

December 29, 2003 by Jeff Shepard

International Rectifier Corp. (IR, El Segundo, CA) introduced a new series of high-current, ultra-low dropout (ULDO) linear voltage regulators in high-density, hermetic packages for military and aerospace applications such as military and commercial aircraft, ground-based vehicles, radar and electronic warfare suites. The new regulators feature a typical dropout voltage of 0.4V to 0.66V.

The ULDO dc/dc post regulator devices have low ripple and low noise, with 1% regulation tolerance, making them suitable for low-voltage, point-of-load, digital bus applications requiring fast transient response and output voltages from +20V to +1.8V, and an output current range of 3A to 10A.

Pricing starts at $76.97 each for the OM7764ASC/SMD, Drawing Number 5962-0323801MYA, in 100-unit to 499-unit quantities.
