Innovative Technology Intros SMART Option Package for I.T. Protector Line

Innovative Technology Inc. (Brooksville, FL) recently introduced a new Suppression Monitoring and Recording Technology (SMART) option package for the firm's I.T. Protector line of ac power panel surge suppressors. It is claimed to represent the "next step" in power quality mitigation, the SMART option package monitors and reports on surges and other potential failures at a given power panel. Users can interface with any SMART Protector unit to monitor system status and access recent event history.Features include a dual-function surge counter with an LCD display that indicates real-time system status. Phase loss and/or protection loss is indicated via the LED display or mutable audible alarm. A tactile switch on the face of the unit accesses menu-driven setup, review, mute and reset functions. In addition, form C dry relay contacts provide a standard interface to remote monitoring systems such as Innovative's ARM remote module. The unit is backed by a 10-year, free replacement warranty.
