HiTek Power Corp. (Santee, CA) introduced the SM10, a simmer module power supply that is targeted for flashlamp pumped YAG lasers, intense pulsed light systems and a variety of medical applications. The new power supply is CE marked and meets all international safety and emission specifications.
Designed as a component in OEM systems, the SM10 is powered from a 24Vdc supply, provides up to 100mA of simmer current at 100V, and incorporates a trigger pulse output to drive an external trigger transformer. Custom versions are available on request and can be integrated into a dedicated flashlamp driver unit. The compact module measures 4.48in x 2.38in x 2.18in (114mm x 60.5mm x 55.5mm).
The HiTek SM10 simmer module is priced at $325, in production quantities, and comes with a one-year warranty. Availability is stock to eight weeks.
