High-Performance, High-Density 25W DC-DC Converters

Claiming an industry-leading power density, Minmax Power introduces the MJW25 Series of 25 Watt DC/DC converters that are housed in a compact 1"x1" shielded metal package. All models feature wide 2:1 input voltage ranges of 9-18Vdc, 18-36Vdc, or 36-75Vdc, which convert to isolated, tightly regulated single or dual outputs of 3.3Vdc, 5Vdc, 12Vdc, or 15Vdc. Dual outputs can be stacked to derive higher voltage, 24Vdc and 30Vdc outputs. No minimum load is required.

Highly efficient (90%), the MJW25 Series are specified to operate in environments with a temperature range from -40 up to +80 degrees C. Optional heat sinks are available for optimal high temperature performance. These converters are well suited to applications in battery operated equipment, instrumentation, data communications, industrial or other applications where board space is at a premium. The pin layout of this compact 1”x1” device matches that of larger 2”x1” devices for an instant PCB real estate savings of 50%.

Input to output isolation is 1500Vdc. Additional features include remote on/off, output voltage trim, and comprehensive protection circuitry (over load, over voltage, and short circuit). The MJW25 Series is approved to UL/cUL 60950-1 and IEC/EN 60950-1 standards. The MJW25 Series is priced under $23.00 in OEM quantity with delivery from stock – 6 weeks ARO.
