High Density Energy Metering System in NEMA 1 Type Enclosure
Electro Industries/GaugeTech (EIG) announced that the Shark® MP200™ multipoint high density energy metering system is now available in an easy install NEMA 1 type enclosure assembly. EIG's MP200™ expands switchgear capability and/or easily meters circuits without expensive and time-consuming redesign. This is a retrofit solution for users that need to meter energy consumption for high-density applications.
The system provides up to 24 energy-metering points in one CPU, offering 0.5% Class Energy accuracy on all circuits. The MP200â„¢ unit can be ordered either as 8 three phase circuits or 24 single phase circuits. The MP200 unit is designed for any industrial, campus or commercial installation. With the MP200 metering system, connecting multiple loads is both easy and highly cost effective. The unit is designed to consolidate many metering points to provide useful energy reporting.
Using EIG's software solutions with the MP200 metering system, users trend Energy and other commodity usage; generate reports to analyze the data; compare usage for different customer locations, billing periods, and meters; and generate customer billing. It offers a choice of RS485, wired Ethernet or 802.11 WiFi, BACnet or LonWorks for ease of connectivity. The lockable enclosure comes pre-wired with the MP200â„¢ unit, CT shorting blocks, voltage fuses, and a touch-screen color display that provides detailed per circuit energy usage data.
