GrafTech Receives eGraf Thermal Component Approval

GrafTech International Ltd. (Wilmington, DE) announced that it has received an order for its eGraf thermal components from Maxtor Corp. GrafTech will supply eGraf thermal spreader plates that will cool a TO-220 integrated circuit package in one of Maxtor's hard-drive applications. The order follows successful internal testing and approval by Maxtor.

"Maxtor's testing, approval and subsequent order marks another commercial success for our eGraf electronic thermal management technology. Our eGraf thermal management line brings a unique blend of technology that can be applied to a wide range of applications," stated Scott Mason, president of the advanced energy technology division. "We will continue to pursue our revenue growth goals through the increased commercialization of our electronic thermal management technology at new customers."
